Landing for passers-by
Maassluis is accessible for pleasure craft and offers an extra stop for yachts as the last port to sea and the first port from the sea.
Maassluis has a landing for passers-by at Geerkade West. This floating landing accommodates 19 sailing boats and motor yachts up to a length of appromixately 15 metres and a width of up to 4½ metres, making Maassluis accessible for pleasure craft. It also offers an extra stop for yachts as the last port to sea and the first port from the sea. In addition to pleasure craft, this quay also provides for winter storage.
Passers-by who are in Maassluis to see the enormous tugboats can moor at this quay. It goes without saying that guests are welcomed by the harbour master. Once moored, passers-by can visit the beautiful historic city centre of Maassluis which is within walking distance.

The landing near the marina at Geerkade West near the Groote Kerk (Big Church) has an information board showing visitors the sights of Maassluis. The information board also shows a list of telephone numbers including the general practitioner’s office, emergency services and Ervaar Maassluis.
